Very cool intro. Sounds really good. Very interesting. I wouldn't know what to call it, but sounds good. Drums sound pretty big. Very full. Intersting tune. Nice playing man. Very nice. Great tone.
Cool tune. Very different. I really like it. And the playing was awesome.

feel free to say anything..

Blankets of Betadine don't do jack for the banana infested swamps of Ontario.

Also, I thought it was cool the way you made the drums just larger than life but then shoved them back...it's almost more like weather than percussion. I've got nits that don't matter, but this was fun and interesting when played loudly. My 5 year old liked it while he was taking his bath.

hey man i listen to a lot of music but i have no idea what to call your music(not in a bad way), only thing i can say its really interesting and tight like your creative keep it up!!!!

Industrial Techno Prog!

I enjoyed the ride and Chris' nits...there, I said it.

Its a nice, catchy tune.

the intro is too long though IMHO.

yeah, love those drums.

Was excited to see this, dug the stuff you posted on here awhile ago. Real cool intro, real cool when those drums come in. Great playing with the leads. Im big on the synth sounding stuff so that totaly got me. Reminds me of some of Bucketheads stuff a little bit. Thats not an insult so i hope you don't take it as one heh. Really enjoyed the song and sorry i don't have any useful mix advice, sounds good to me.

Take care

some folks on rp thought the middle lead was too loud but nobody mentioned it here.. or nobody cared! :D

guitars...

the guitar chain was a mexi strat with a Seymour Duncan hot rail pickup installed in the bridge and tuned to e flat, into some boss pedals (PS-5 Super Shifter) then right into an maudio FW 410 soundcard where I used Native Instruments Guitar Rig for distortion and an analog delay plug and a multi band compressor.. I'm not a big fan of guitar rig's delay..

I appreciate the comments gentlemen.. have a good one!

great site if anyone is into vsti's and vst effects and stuff http://www.kvraudio.com/

The leads are louder than the backing music, but in a style of music that is built up and around the lead guitar, I find this normal. If you mixed the leads down some, they would not have the impact that I feel this type of music offers. It would not drasticly change the tune, but it would change it's impact. The bigger than life drums are just asking for something to come in and put them in their spot. If you were to add vocals, maybe the lead would need to be toned down, but the guitar is what gives it that impact.

Sam- Really cool stuff. Your music is always super Imaginative. I think the lead guitar might be a little loud. The main "melody parts" are pretty far out front already (which is ok I think in this context) but then the lead comes in and just sort of takes it over the edge. Maybe bring the drums/rhythm stuff up just a little more to compensate.

GREAT to see you back around these parts Sammy. A lot more synth stuff than I'm used to hearing form you sir. Pretty cool. Man you can shread. Great dynamics in your production. Man that's HUGE! Just what I'd expect from you my friend.

Really like the drum sound on this tune as well was the synth's...the lead guitar level didn't really seem to be overly loud to me...but I guess it's a mayyer of taste.Enjoyed this!

Sam, your on your way to become a musical madman, he he... Some stuff is total crazy for my taste, but It´s good, it´s real good, your really done some great mixingjob for sure. Personally I miss that old Sabbath covers your recorded some years ago....

Dig. That is cool. Agreed that the lead should come down just a hair though. I love the super wide spread on the synth sounds.

Hey man, I haven't read all the other reviews above so this a fresh one...
I really enjoyed this song.
It's very insteresting and pretty wild.
Good sounds and mixing throughout too.
The guitar playing rocks! Love the tone.
That 2:25 part is real trippy and cool too.
No real critisicm on this one... just a good piece of interesting music. nice job :D
