New Tune- **Fall**... against the grain :-)

Just finished mixing this one up this evening

Im using both electric and acoustic guitars... :)

I think it will fit on the album nicely :)

very nice.....after :45 ......

i does have one of the things i dislike and thats a intro that seems to go on to long without devloping......i knew from listening to your other stuff that there was a 99.9% chance something great was coming, so i didnt turn it off....of course these are personal preferences and very subjective....

but thats almost a non issue...the rest of the tune is simply beautiful....i love the mix of acoustic and electric...dont let ANYONE tell you any different.....

you need a record deal......

I like your synth/gtr stuff very much. I think the leads could be a tad louder...and I'm a sucker for stereo leads too.. can ya do dat??

the synth is nice, but maybe a little heavy in the 'low-end' department.

the music and playing are great. the recording ..maybe because of the synth bass stuff, seems bass heavy too.

I need a tritone...right??

a real nice one here Jeff.. very Satriani-ish to me.. actually the acoustic was cool.. It was low, and it didnt make or break the song for me.. a real sweet atmosphere you've created..

Ok, I know I said acoustic only in the first post of this song but you changed my mind. The electric sounds great and I really like the subtle acoustic parts as well.

Your playing is very dynamic and expressive and that's the hook. Have to agree that the intro is a little long. Very nice listening once the guitar kicks in. I could definitely see this in a movie or something.

Thanks for posting. This one's a keeper in my playlist.

Hated the intro and loved everything else. Some really nice playing. A good blend of tones. Excellent control and articulation.
 
Loved the intro and LOVED everything else.:D It is very Satriani-ish but that's OK since I like Satriani. I'm impressed with the production on the synth stuff, it keeps it interesting. I dig it.
 
very solid guitar playing.........maybe give the acoustic a little more volume, it kinda gets lost at times......nice tune

I only used the sm57 on my cabinet -heres some pics of the cab I built cab pic1 cab pic 2 :) - so Im only dealing with a mono single unless I ran it into some effects. Im using the Pod on the front end into the Marshall. Yeah... I always have a low end problem on my mixes... maybe I should start testing my mixes on a boom box :eek:

programming the sequencer is the fun part :)

yes.. satch has always been a big influence on me... I think you can hear it in there :) Yeah... I think i'll leave the acoustic in there... It does sound good with or without it. Thanks for your comments man
