wrote this one last nite. needs bass, gtar solo, maybe keys and
maybe even some clean gtar accent's. i felt i would just throw this out there and see what happens. opinions on the mix are welcome. also i would be willing to lay down tracks for other projects. later, Tim

man im listening to this now and i dont see why you even NEED to collab on this....its got all kinds of cool things in it......when you do the vocal part.."crazy visions.."...or whatever ...bring the volume up a tad it is buried behind the effect.....

cool song..
jamal

thanks Jamal. maybe collaborate wasnt the proper word to use.
what i meant was if somone wanted to lay down some tracks and add some fresh insight to the tune. mainly to see what could
happen with it, Tim

Loved the crunch of the main guitar. Also like the the guitar that comes in during the chorus.

Hate the drums - thin for this song and the timing comes and goes ...... tell me they're MIDI (sorry for the swear - LOL). I've got MIDI phobia these days.

You've got a good voice. I'd drop off most of the reverb and compress the crap out of it.

What, no lead? No bass?

Has the makings of a good head-banger tune.

yep, needs lead guitar and bass guitar.....could use either a new drum track or some fattening up of whats there.......

Overall is fine, but hardly I can't hear several words being sung clearly. Jamal is right, you can push the vox a little bit forward so it doesn't mud with the effects. Nice tune...

I actually took a stab at it (leads) but couldn't come up with anyting at all. It needs a real shred meister. Cool tune. I like the part with the C to A chord shifts a lot.

Nice tune,
Needs have already been mentioned.
I would try and beef up the drums.

If the true shredaholics here don't step up I may give this a shot.

Keep it up!
Joel

thanks for the input guys. i will work on the drums! i used a drum machine(no midi was used, i dont know shit about midi) for this but i can get isolated bass, snare, hihat & cymbal/tom tracks. if any one has suggestions for treatments/panning for these i am all ears. also i looped alot of the gtar parts for this(timing fluctuations after the second chorus.) so i need to build this from the bottom up anyway! i will post new mix when completed. Thanks for the reply's, Tim

Sounds pretty cool. No collab from here - not enough skills :D.

Only thing I noticed, it seems like the guitar competed with the vocal in quite a few spots. I'm not great at this kind of stuff so I don't know if the vocal just needs to be turned up or some sonic space made for it or what.

I look forward to hearing this redone & fleshed out a little.

Nice work.

Cool toon.

I'm always up for adding a shredding solo to a tune. (Wish I had more time to actually do it  ).

Good stuff!

It seems I am hearing timing problems in it...kinda like when you have too much happening at once on a keyboard sequencer, and it lags a little. Plus...it seems slightly off of A=440...not that is a big problem.

Moving the hihat a bit off to the right would help even the drum track up a bit to my ears.

me too.. especially in that chorus.. it has the makings of a good tune, but those drums are hurting this big time!

the drums are definitely off.. when I'm listening to the chorus part where the solo would go I guess, you can really hear the timing problems clearly.. you have a good voice! I think it's the best thing about this.. Definitely look at those drums first.. almost sounds like a bad loop..

the song is good, but your voice is *really good!*
