Hey Keith. I finally got a chance to give this a listen and I think it sounds great. It had a lot going on to keep it interesting. I loved all the effects and stuff. It seems I always have to ask, but what is the opening vox sample saying.

I can't wait to hear more from you dude.

Have a good one. Great listening. :)

Thanks Justin, and nice to see you around again, what you been up to?

...its "i want my $2" in the sample :)

No need for an apology, KC. I just like it that box.net does afford a listener to download a file (depending on how you set it up). No biggee.

You can save on dropbox by right clicking the link and save as mp3 file i think 60's??

I havent smoked in quite a while but the residue of a lot of drugs in the last three decades is prolly still there :D

I really like it. Very professional sounding, you have good understanding of how to use echo and especially the stereo field.
These are things that I as a n00b really want to learn how to do, and do well. I can also tell that there is a lot of sample work there,
the whole effort shows how much experience you have.

If I were going to say one thing critical, and you can feel free to just ignore it; it would be that it was about one minute too long for me.

Yeah i get what your saying...when i do something with a guitar or vocals its pretty easy to see where the end should be...but when its just an instrumental its more about patterns i hear...so it ends at its mathematical end, if that makes sense....sometimes thats a bit too long

Im a bit hit or miss with mixes, but some are closer than others...if i can ever help with anything just yell mate

That depends on the browser and which plugins it has. Mine automatically brings up the save/open prompt.

So I just learned about the Donk genre this weekend. I'm hearing some similarities (not enough to call your song donk, but enough that it's interesting).

Lol

Thanks for the link, that was pretty funny

Bassline...put a donk on it, techno....put a donk on it

Jeez, I can't abide donk. We were in this idyllic pub with some friends in the Lake District once - tt was snowing outside and we spent an excellent afternoon playing pool, until some fucker came in and filled the jukebox playlist with donk tunes. A rural pub idyll is pretty quickly shattered by some moron repeatedly gurning 'put a donk on it' over a shit beat :cursing:

Just had another listen now to the new mix, sounds better to me kc - more punch to the beat and more pulse to the bass which I like. Listening on headphones though, whereas I listened on speakers last time - don't know if this makes any difference in this regard.

thanks for listening again Rob, yeah ive been blasting it in the car and it is improved

I dunno, a bloke makes an album and then chases it with more shufflin' stuff.
I like that dragged/tunnel/turbo bass thing.
Are you good at jigsaw puzzles? Maybe mosaics - you certainly put little elements together to make a BIG picture!
I enjoyed this, damn you!

Thanks Ray!

Its a wee bit sparse and monotinous but i like it too..

Time waits for no man, im two tracks into the next production!
