Your link doesn't work... a message comes up saying "Band is inactive..."

i THINK IT WAS A SERVER PROBLEM IT IS WORKING NOW THANKS FELLAS

This is nice.... Like the main sounds.... Sythns or something.... Yeah this is nice I like how the violins start changing up nice work.... My only critic is the shaker should be at playing more often... too much dead air where there should be a hi hat...

Mesa like...

Raticus

Ca scent du fromage........

Sorry.... it did nothing for me -- I didn't care for the synth sounds - very "Casio" sounding to me....

I like cheese, but not in huge doses........ ;)

This isn't intended as a slam -- you may very well have intended the lo-fi quality of the sounds (which is fine).... it simply isn't my cup of tea!

OTOH - I am on somewhat of a natural, no-synth sound kick lately, so I could also be overcritical!

Not bad, but lots of dead air like Raticus mentioned

Nice one SOUNDBOY... String work is tight. I'd put a sample that fits the song topic in that gap maybe. Some kinda lofi voice or something maybe.

Lots of stuff going on in the beats without cluttering it up bad. Just gotta get em to mesh together a little tighter and I think you'll be ready to do something.

Keep doing the good work. Peace.

Soundboy,

What's up with the intro here? I heard some guitar like instrument for about 15 seconds and then silence. Real Player says the track is 5:20 long, but I'm at 1:30 now and hear nothing. 2:30 and still nothing. Okay, still nothing so I tried the link again and same deal. Not sure what the problem is here, but I'd like to hear the track. Let me know if you have another link or something.

Soundboy,

Alright I'm trying this again. Now I made it past the intro. Definitely a different feeling groove here, which I like. I'm not liking the sounds of the guitar-like instrument, a little cheesy sounding. Loving the string work here though, it brings a nice feel to the track. I'm with Raticus on the shaker point, too much dead air, although I think that could work if you used a grittier sound like a lo-fi hi-hat. I like the reverse cymbal you're using, it sounds like it has some sort of cascading sample at the end, very cool. Overall tight track here.

I'd like to listen to this whole track, but I'm on a dial up and can't wait for the whole track to be buffered. If possible when you post beats can you give us direct links to your site so we can choose the quality for ourselves, otherwise some of us miss out on this great work.

Again nice work on the track Soundboy.

BTW, if possible can you post in my Producers Please Read!!! thread. I'd much appreciate it.

Quite like this track, Soundboy. Though it's not quite lively enough for my likings. Dead-air definately needs 2 be sorted out, though it's not bad. I don't know, it's just very samey and not lively enough, but it isn't a bad beat - just not 2 my taste.

Thanks for the input fellas I'm working out the kinks now

Stray I will post it at lower rates I never thaught of that
will get to the producers post also. Dont know how much help I will be but will give it the old college try.

Any thaughts on killing dead air, that seems to be a problem of mine.

Thanks again fellas

Soundboy,

In reference to killing dead air, I would suggest using a grittier sound, like a lo-fi hi-hat, something with a little character to it. You could also trying having a hi-hat play a constant 1/8th or 1/16th note pattern along with the shaker track.

As far as the Producers thread is concerned, from what I can hear you're definitely a capable producer that's why I was looking for your feedback. No biggie if you don't though.

Again, very tight string work. Where you pulling those string sounds from?
