Long and Mcdonalds finally got the double muff fuzz/od pedal I ordered. I tested in the store and was not very impressed but i've been playing around with the knobs(haha) and the single/double switch and its actually quite the versatile little pedal for only having two knobs, your volume control on your guitar also comes into play on how much distortion/gain you get. I ranged from Neil Young, Iggy and the Stooges, and QOTSA and even adds a nice crispness to the strumming with a touch of chorus and reverb. it gives my amp that punch that the fab didn't would prolly be gold with one of the compressors i was suggested. I think its the start to a beautiful relationship, and besides two muff's are always better than one unless you can throw a sausage down both halls! Has anyone else tried one of these? They're fairly cheap mine came to 66 bucks including tax.

I picked up an original muff fuzz about 10 years ago, and that thing is cool. One knob and a switch. The switch you have to turn on with your hands. It isn't like a pedal at all. Give you those great 70's garage sounds or 90's grunge sounds. Have fun with the double. I have been wanting to check that out, or the reissue of the muff fuzz.
