Nah that aint me.

Just did a contest.

wondered how the track sounded sonically
 
It sounds just like the original to me - I mean... the original sounds great - but, am I missing something? Aside from chopping off about 3 minutes of the song - what did you actually do here that you want feedback on?
 
ZOUNDS!! I listened before I read the followup posts.....I was thinking this is a newb with some major talent writing, arranging, and recording. Was gonna tell him he belongs on the Billboard Top 100.

Wish I wrote, arranged , and recorded this one. The artist has a really nice mix of soul sounds, old and new, with a hiphop bottom. Only nit is that he never lets the groove roll 4 on the floor in the verses. Should I email him??:laughings:

Well, apparently you've got quite an eye for talent - hit that Billboard nail on the head, at least. And yea, email him, what's the worst he could do - not write back? :D (Post his response if he does, of course)

edit: Looks like the OP's SoundClick account is about to get canned - can't hear the track anymore: just get "This account is currently under review." I guess they can't tell the difference in this version and the original, either.

I wish I could have heard this before it got canned, not that I'd be any help, but I just wanted to hear it. Seems it's been removed altogether now

It was, as far as I could tell, a 45 second snip from the middle of the song that's in the youtube link in the second post. It did sound a hell of a lot better than the crappy youtube sound, of course.
