Hello folks!

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. Some of you may know me from other forums, (I haunt musicplayer's Keyboard Corner, artistarea.com and Artistlaunch) but this is my first visit to HomeRecording. Looks like a wealth of information is here to be had, great!

I'm a Smooth and Ambient Jazz artist from St. Petersburg FL. I record at home using a Korg D1600 16 track, a Zoom RFX-1000 effects unit, a HHB Radius3 Fat Man Tube Compressor, and Mackie 1202VLZ mixer. I'm a multi instrumentalist, below is my axe list:

Keys:
Korg Triton 61
Roland RD-500

Bass:
1983 Peavey Foundation
Carlo Robelli acoustic bass guitar
Carlo Robelli fretless

Drums:
Boss DR-660
CB700 Internationale acoustic kit
Roland V-drums (entry level kit)

Guitars
Fender Strat
CC Clarke electric
Martin DXME
Yamaha 12 string
Angelica classical

You can see pix of the studio and hear some stuff at Llarion's Lair, the address is in my sig. I'm an experiencesd reviewer, I'm on staff at ArtistLaunch as a reviewer and as Jazz genre manager.

Nice to be here!

Welcome to the board Llarion! Good info and Great peeps here. Sounds like you have quite a setup, maybe you'll be helping us out ;)

Welcome aboard........!

Don't feed the bears......................... ;)

:D :D

Welcome to the board my friend. I can't make up my mind what I am (although my ex wife could come up with some colorful definitions) so I just hack away at whatever blows my skirt up at the time.

Whoops, no sig!

What do the bears eat?? :)

Hey, if I can help at all, I'd be glad to, but I make no assumptions that I'm in that position based on the help I think *I* need! :D

Anyway, visit http://www.llarion.com to see my Lair... :)

Cheers!

Welcome Llarion!! I've only been here for a little over a month, but I went from "What's this about?" to "This is my favourite site on the entire net," in about three days. The range of expertise and the accommodating personalities here are second to none!!

I'm a classical guitar player, myself, and couldn't help noticing the Angelica classical guitar. I've never heard of them. What are they like?

Chris

The Angelica is an inexpensive house brand that Sam Ash carries. I got it because it has a relatively linear sound, a cutaway, and a pickup, and a decent enough action, for $160. :)

I'm really diggin this place too!

Bears are omnivorus, they eat just about anything, including fingers, if you get too close to the cage. Hence the warning.;)

Larion, you got some real sweet tunes on your site man.
Very, very cool!

Llarion,

Welcome to the bbs!

One recommendation for your website, if you don't mind...

More pictures of Scooter!

Welcome to the board, Llarion! I'm an old psychedelic folkie working on a fairly serious home-tracked project. You listed gear, but no mics. Tell us about the mics. And as far as the bear, it seems to mostly eat cluless newbies who think they can build a pro commercial studio for under $1000. Don't worry though, it's well fed, 'cause there seems to be plenty of his food around.-Richie

...Welcome to the forum, brother.

...the bear ? fingers? He just ate mine once . It was a loooong loooong time agooo. :D Then I turned into a singer / songwriter than pianist... ;)
Watch out... :D:D:D
