Hi,

Just bought Sonar 2.0XL and haven't RTFM in a very detail way .. Sorry about that.

1) Anyone can give me some explaination about Rewire ? I have reason under rewire menu and everytime I click on reason from the menu, it pops up and that's all. To me the rewire seems like calling up another application. But I do think "Rewire" should have another meaning...

2) I've d/l Pro-52 demo but Sonar didn't see it....... Cubase VST 5 could see it. How can I tell Sonar that pro-52 is one of my plug-ins ?

Regards!

Rewire is just a technology that allows you to pipe audio information between rewire enabled applications. This pretty much means anything made by Propellerhead software, Rebirth, reCycle, etc......

When you patch Rewire-Reason into Sonar, you are effectively slaving the Reason sound modules into Sonar - they will respond to the Sonar start/stop commands, tempo changes etc.

This means that if you open a midi file in Sonar, you can use the various instrument banks from Reason to play back the sound. Similarly, you could create a part in Sonar's piano roll view and have that trigger playback from one of the Reason devices.

Each reason device shows up as a different channel under the main REWIRE-REASON midi port, (after you have inserted Reason as a DXi synth)

As to the other half of the question - N.F.I.

Good luck,

Q.

Did you install it as a DXi? It worked for me...
