Hey all,
So I need some direction in the way of room treatment. I've been reading a ton on it, but a lot of it just confuses me. I record and mix in my bedroom, and I'm looking for some relatively cheap ways to fix some out of control frequencies that are not doing me any good. My room is 15'x9', so small. ANY tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Adam

Welcome Adam. Man, there is so much information about this topic around here. Just Google search dood.

Here is a good starting point. CLICK ME

You can build panels like these yourself at less than half the cost. If you are not the handy type, then buy the panels.

Just do yourself a favor, and try to remember that 'FOAM' is a four letter word that basically equates to 'S**'T'. :)

Also every room has standing waves that are frequencies that cancel out so play sine waves through your speakers and walk around and you will notice frequencies start changing volumes in the room becuase of this. Try to find the most natural spot for all the Frquencies and try to make that you mix position.
