New to board. Must edit right track of stero wav

Hello:

I recorded a stero wave file. 3/4 of the way through the right track went to static. I wish to keep this file. What I need to do is erase/Del the
last porton of the right track any help here.

in the edit view (shown below), you can select which side of the stereo wav to work on. The switch is circled in red.

or if you click-drag towards the very top or bottom of the waveform window, you will only highlight one side of the waveform.
