Hey everybody. I haven't been around lately because
I've been working all the time. Anyways, I just picked up a new
MS-16 with TONS of 456 and some cool accessories.
It has the overbridge Meter mount and the ATR-60 style cart.
I'll post pics soon. She's really beautiful.
My other one had too many problems, so I've turned it in for parts.
It's in great condition and functions very well with the exception
of the Tape moving across the Heads. It doesn't cover all of Track 1
and the Level fluctuates significantly.
If I adjust the Tension Rollers, it just rides the Tape on the
Guides and Reels and it only moves up on the Heads a small bit.
The Manual doesn't talk about this problem.
What should I adjust? Could it be the Head Alignment?
I've set the Reel height and the Tension Roller height.
My other MS-16 had this problem, but I can't remember how I fixed it.
