New subscriber first song

Hello. Love this forum.

Here's a song I recorded through Mixcraft 7. Was a song by Keith Green in the late '70's that I adapted to guitar.

I'd appreciate any feedback on the mix. The last time I recorded was with a Vesta Fire 4-track cassette. Technology's come a long way, baby.

The guitar sound is somewhat boxy, try lowering the EQ in the 600Hz range. The vocal is very 'roomy' - like you were far from the mic in a not-so-good-sounding room.

I would take off the vocal effects. It's kind of an intimate song, and the weird-ish effects don't fit to me. Watch your pitch too - noticed a few bum notes.

The intro was kind of long and the tempo was kind of slow. I was wishing the song moved faster.
