ello, been quiet for long enough got more questions.

So i know the possible pros of a new speaker in my combo, but what kind of dynamic does another speaker add?

Are Celestion, and eminence the best routes to explore for speakers?

also; how do you tell what ohms an amp uses and does wattage matter if its higher than your amp puts out?

Well, if you have another cabinet, you get more coverage. You can also point it another direction. It will also sound different, especially if your extention cab is a sealed 4x12 and your combo is an open backed 1x12.

The speaker output will tell you what the impedance should be.

Celestion and Eminence make good speakers, but you really need to decide what you want in a speaker and then find the speaker that does that. The easiest way is to find someone (famous or not) that has a sound similar to the one you are after, then find out what they are using.

i.e. getting a marshall cabinet and hooking it to a fender princeton will not get you that super cool fender sound.

Maybe not but I'll bet it would sound pretty sweet. ;)

Only if that was what you were going for.

For me, a Marshall JCM800 is almost the perfect amp. I don't play country or numetal. If I did, I would need a different amp.

The JCM800 is a fine amp but I like my Carvin Legacy through a Marshall 4x12 even better. I also don't play country or numetal.
