Hi. Im just mixing my new song. It's a vintage british riff, i'm sitting here and mixing it for about 8 hours, and I can't get the perfect sound. I decided to show it to you, and I hope you will help me a little, and show me the right way :)

Sorry for my english, I haven't been using it for a long time, and I have forgot many things ;p

AND HERE IS THE SONG :

It's a very interesting but tinny sound that I feel needs a warmer counterpoint, like a strummed chord to play off. As an intro it is fine, but way too cold and tinny to endure for very long. It works for the first 10 seconds of your link, and then gets hard on the ears.

The guitar is pretty piercing. Some cuts around 2-3k wouldn't hurt, just to mellow it out a bit. True double tracking (two different panned guitar tracks) might help out to fill it out as well, instead of the stereo widening effect you have on it now.

Isn't the snare too loud or boxy? I would get a rid around 400Hz. Would also high pass at around 200hz.

It's OK.

It's all snare and guitar though. Needs bass/kick/overheads/etc. Guitar can get a little scratchy here and there, but not bad. It seemed to fit the feel of the song fairly well.

Lot's of ring in the snare. I would go for a more natural snare sound if it were me.
