and to add injury to insult it is on myspace...and i believe they use some type of audio equalizer or s'in. But this sounds like a Pharell track
 
ummm yea like they said couldve been mixed better, and i can hear your breaths when you rapping, so it doesnt "flow" as well, and at times *might be just me* its too damn fast you need to relax and feel the beat..other than that do ya thang playa ! lmao

I couldn't get through the whole track, the mix was just too bad...

Don't you "session mix" when you record vocals? I mean... dang..lol..

Anyway... the vibe of the track is cool, not my personal style of rap I prefer, but I can see the clubs bangin it.
 
ok - well i gotta get better wit my mixxes - i was actually hopin to take the raw vocals to someone else . . . but im a try to do a new mix!!!

1. eliminate breaths
2. session mix -- ? what is that?
3. slow down the lyric drops (too fast or rushed?) i been playin wit the idea of "eliminatin" the syllables in some lines . . .

any other things to look at - feel free . . .
 
I wouldn't eliminate the breaths, man. I don't take em out of my songs, because they're natural. Plus, if you place em right, they go with the flow of the track.

I got so much rythym, I breathe on beat!... lol..

im not talkin about takin off breaths off a song im sayin it sounds funny and takes away from the song if your tryin to get the flow, the breaths on his song sounded like when someone breaths on a stage mic, that "plosion"

im the first to admit that i have bad ears . . . i dont hear as much as most . . . if u mind - can u tell me "where" - what lyric portion of the song - u hear these plosives?
