My initial impression is that this is an adult contemporary song --- something you could consider along with the likes of Sting or Daniel Lanois... That said, the vocals don't seem to blend well with the music.

The music feels smooth and warm while the vocals feel like they're more apt for southern rock.

Other than that, the music sounds fine.

Thanks. Yeah im not much on vocals. Im hoping to get someone else to sing it. I never thought of myself as southern rock sounding.

Hey evadbowl,

Music sound nice, good easy listening composition! But somehow the vocals sound so distant, maybe you could try to put the lead vocals more upfront and put a bit more reverb on it. I like the break on 1:43, smooth!
