New song on my new laptop (If I Had You)

Hi guys. Did one on the new duo core laptop and Sonar. All yesterday, written and recorded in probably 5 hours. Drums this time are Addictive Drums program. Still using my Toneport ux2 for an interface, MXL V67 for vocal, Sure 57 for micing the Fender XD champ sitting right on my bed, in fact, the whole thing was recorded while sitting on my bed. Amp was on the bed with mic proped up in front on the blanket. V67G was mounted on small desktop mic stand and I was laying down on the bed as I sang. Now all I need is a fridge and a toilet in my bedroom and I would probably never come out of here, lol.

like the song, like the playing/singing. the chorus added a nice spin on the modern blues thing. the drum and guitar tones sound a bit plasticy, but considering what you used, i think you did a good job. i'd like it more if you gave the drums some velocity/timing tweaking here and there, and if the mix wasn't quite as bright, as the brightness seems to accentuate the plasticy stuff.
