new song - need mix help

hey guys , just looking for some general mix/song help. I don't sing to often or post songs with me singing so ya know break my spirit be as hard on me as possible.

well............the sound quality and blend really wasnt all that bad!

however........

the natural timing and meter of this song is WAAAY off the clock my man.

id invest in a metronome.

I listened to "need you". I like the feel of the song (slow and anticipating)...like xfinsterx said: you're timing may be wack in a couple of places but overall it has a decent "curve-like" feel to it.

But I'm more of a vocal listener and I couldn't really pick out your vocals much. It might be just me but during the chorus (espescially) it seemed as if your voice was getting muddled in with your lead guitar line. It almost sounds like your singing from inside of a cabinet or something. You may want to try some eq'ing to fix this....that usually does the trick for me. By the way----de -ess your vocals a little more if you can.
