Hey - here are a few lyrics. Follow the link to listen to how the melody go- starts of slow, then gets faster. Some of them are a little cheesey but im working on them. Any suggestions would be great. I think the lyrics go really well with the music- especially the goodbye part- lol, you'll just have to give it a listen to see what i mean.

(Im not much of a singer and the recording is of the first draft of the song)

Thanks for taking the time to listen.

Again

There she goes again
Our week has come and it has gone
I'll miss her more than she'll know
But as for now, I know she has to go

Goodbye
Just for now, not for long
Goodbye
You know that our day will come

You're all I think of now
Those summer nights just you and me
You're something special, this much I know
But as for now- this distance separates us

Goodbye
Just for now, not for long
Goodbye
You know that our day will come

Will we have our chance, will we have our night?
You as yourself and me as mine
The more we talk the more the time will fly
I only hope that I don't have to say......

Goodbye
Just for now, not for long
Goodbye
You know that our day will come

And i wonder how you're doing know
So you're with another guy
I must ask you if you're truly happy
I know I'm not, I couldn't be

Goodbye
Just for now, not for long
Goodbye
You know that our day will come

hmm...

FYI,
i'm new to this...and I couldn't get nowhereradio to pull up your tune. You may want to talk to Michael Jones on this forum..his played well on nowhereradio.

So reading the song words only.
I got confused somewhat, mainly in the Verses.

Title is AGAIN.
But what i see is GOODBYE..Just for now. Sticks in my head as the main focus/center or writing.

Chorus section: is repeatable and looks standard, correct.
<Chorus>
Cool.

Verses:

So reading, i get an overview that you are speaking/thinking "of her"...not "to her"

You will see "her" again- Goodbye, Just for Now.

so I added inputs as your talking to the listener "of her" style- (telling a story to the listener)
you could change it from talking "of her" to "to her"....but don't you want to stay with one or the other and not switch from verse to verse.

<Verse 1>. (your talking "of her")
There she goes again
Our week has come and it has gone
I'll miss her more than she'll know
But as for now, I know she has to go

<Verse 2> (Confused, now your talking to her? not the listner?)
(To keep it focused to the first verse, try talking to the listener/yourself...don't switch)

You're all I think of now (confusing)
(She's) all I think of now(maybe...talking "of her"...not "to her")
Those summer nights just (her) and me
(She's) something special, this much I know
But as for now- this distance separates us

<Verse 3>
Will we have our chance, will we have our night?
(Her) as (herself) and me as mine
The more we talk the more the time will fly
I only hope that I don't have to say......

<Verse 4>
And i wonder how (she's) doing now
(Is she) with another guy
I must ask (her) if (she's) truly happy
I know I'm not, I couldn't be

Now back to my own writers block........aaaarrrrggghh

Getting Nowhereradio to Work

Coolcat -- The interface on Nowhereradio can be a bit confusing if you aren't familiar with it.

William's link doesn't go directly to his song, but to his "home" page. From there you have to click on the word "Discography" in the lowermost purpose panel. This doesn't look like a link -- it's bold and not underlined -- but it is in fact a link.

On the Discography screen, you'll see the word "Singles" in bold type in the middle of the page. This word, which is bold and not underlined, looks like a section title. But in fact, it is another link. Click on this link, and you'll finally arrive at the page of songs. From there, the interface will be more familiar.

Although Nowhereradio is an absolutely wonderful service, the website would definitely benefit from the services of a talented web designer.

My Mistake

Coolcat -- my mistake! The song that I found under William MacMorran on Nowhereradio is apparently not the one he references in his post.

tws -- Anyway, I did enjoy the untitled song that I found under your name. Did you play all the instruments, or do you have a band?

Looking Forward to NWR4

Waldo -- Great news! I look forward to the new release!
