New Song -- "Crossroads"

Hello all--

Here is a song I wrote the other night. I was setting out to write a song about how neat it is to live at the crodssroads of my neighborhood, with people I know waving as they drive by...and it got all dark. I guess that's just how I am.

I know the vox are a bit hot on this mix, but other than that I am fairly happy with it. Of course, my playing and singing need to improve, and I am working on that.



I'm posting this here because some folks in the Newbie area seemed to like the tune and I would love more feedback. If interested I can post lyrics.

It's a little loose and the guitars sound like they are DI'd? I'd like to hear it on a big fat dreadnought acoustic. I also might capo up a fret or two which I think might get your voice in a range where it is stronger and you'll have more pitch control.
 
Gold, right on all counts. DI'd (a POD), from an electric. I don't have an acoustic. I will try it capo'd up. That's really helpful advice.

And, yes, loose...I am still learning and am at the painful part of the curve. That is, the early part!
