New song: Chemicals, please critique.

Hey guys,

this is my new tune chemicals. Take a listen and tell me what you think of the mix and if you want can also comment on the song. This is like the first accoustic song I've tried to mix so I might need a little advice on accoustic recording.

I think you did just fine for your first go at acoustic. At first the lead sounded really loud, but it does actually sit in a good spot, up front but not out of place. I a junky for loud kick drums, so your didnt really do it for me, but for the type of song, I think it works.

The backup vocals can go down slightly. Everything else is really good. Awsome song, really enjoyed it.
 
Thanks for the listen guys. This song is so different from the stuff that my band usually does. So im not really familiar with this type of song....

I won't comment on the mix or choice of guitar tones, but I would like to say that it's a great tune and that the lead vocal and harmony vocals are EXCELLENT! You have a winner IMO.

This is very good. I must say though that I don't like the lead tone. It sounds to me like a Cars reject lead until the solo proper at least - too processed & smooth for me.
Otherwise a really good track.
