New song...Blame...Advice!!!

Hey everyone...

This is a new song that we just finished...except for bass...let me know what you think of the mix...the mix is a little quiet because i am trying to keep everything a little lower..

What? No Bass?
It's a little dry . The lead guitar could use a little verb.
The vocals could use a little slapback echo.Otherwise pretty good.
 
Right on...I was being a little cautious about the verb because I didnt want to muddy up the mix...thanks!....

Anyone else??
 
Ten minutes on and that song is still going through my head !
I only heard it like twice. Good one ! ;)
 
Things are spread out well. I like that. As others said, could use a little reverb shine added. Vocals are quite clear, instruments are a bit muddy. Drums are really well done. Near the end of the song there is a dead spot, about two seconds worth??
 
dead spot?? is your left speaker working? i have a panned guitar thats all by itself for a couple seconds...I don't know..
 
I agree, everything seems really dry. The drums seem very small.

I like your vocal harmonies, your lead licks are cool but the guitars step on each other.
 
I just got drumagog for xmas so ill sample some drums then have a revised version up here...thanks guys,

Ok guys here is an updated version of the song...still no bass...but i added some better sounding drums and try to wet down the mix...tell me what you think now...
