New Soleternity beat - "Save the Day"!!

Soleternity - Save The Day

This one is real deep, after I read about SoopaFly Mike's situation it reminded me of a similiar one of my own, and thus I created this beat. It started as a basic piano melody and transformed into a contemporary jazz musical sequence.

Don't stop listening after the first 40 seconds, right after the hook (which leads off the beat) there is a bridge kicking off the first verse, followed by a musical interlude before leading into the next chorus. The 2nd verse is a new musical sequence entirely, and so on.

NO samples at all, all played by myself.

The piano is the roland jv 1010 #01 piano, the guitar is roland jv 1010 guitar #35. All other instruments came from the Korg Karma, including the bass. Sequenced/mixed in acid pro 2.0, mixed/mastered in sound forge 6.

I can't believe no one has commented on this yet.

I'm feeling that piano line. Maybe it's the compression but it sounds kind of dry. I like the guitar phrase and how it interplays with the bongo line. This definitely is a jazzy hip-hop track. Also the bass instrument isn't coming in too clear except for in the hook section. I can hear the kick fine but the bass is kind of masked by it I think (this may also be due to the mp3 compression).

The 2 points I made are very miniscule, I think this is a very impressive and tight track. I can hear some deep topic matter over top of this. This would be the perfect cruising and contemplating your life type of track. You're obviously a very skilled composer. Keep 'em coming.

I putted the beat on, putted on my new wireless headphones (Pretty cool in the studio and around the house) and went in my LAY-Z-BOY. I letted the beat loop for like 30 minutes... The vibe is hypnotizing...

It's a fuckin sin everyone was to busy arguing in this forum to enjoy this Sol beat. Everybody in here needs to listen to this jam. This was done as Sol stated earlier for a producer who's daughter died (3yrs old)...... Stop bickering and listen to this deep instrumental......
