This is an old music idea I just got around to recording. It's nylon string guitar and fretless bass. I recorded it to a simple click track that I hoped would work in the mix but it still competes against and detracts from the guitar so I left it out. I'm hoping the guitar spanking provides all the rhythm/percussion. Does it work? The guitar was stereo tracked. Fretless bass was double-tracked and a 3rd bass track fills out the bottom end. Your feedback appreciated.

Oh yeah, It's called "sketch". Catchy eh?

Sounds pretty cool to me. Nice sound on the bass. I think the guitar thumping works. Whole thing is pretty clean. Nice tune.

Thanks Dogman. I'm just getting a handle on a vocal idea.

I notice you spend a lot of time in the mixing clinic. I hope to be able to do that too. I've tried to listen to other postings a few times but dial-up does not make it easy. Lo-fi streams pretty good but I don't like the sound of my stuff in lo-fi so I wouldn't want to comment on anything based on just lo-fi versions.

DSL will be available to me soon. Somebody tell me hi-fi works good across a DSL connection.

Hi-Fi works great for me in streaming. It comes out as 128K in both Nowhere and Soundclick.
