What sequencing programs do you recomend? I'm currently using the ProTools software as my sole sequencer. Do you think it's enough or should I invest in something else? What?

I use pro tools but only for recording vocals but if pro tools alows you to sequence I say why buy another software, but Im a noob at this im still trying to extract instrumentals from a cd to my pro tools software so I can manipulate the beats

I mean I can record beats coming out my boards but when I use an outside device like a cd player or record player to record from the cd to the pro tools software it comes out real fuzzy I dont understand why so then I try to extract the files onto the software and it doesnt extract nothing because my software wont read the files how I can get my software to read my files I dont know I even contacted pro tools company and they told to me to extract it as a movie file but it still didnt extract the sound I dont know why

I don't use any sequencing program, sinceI think they all suck, and I end up spending all my time fighting the programs instead of recording.

So what sequencer you use is only a matter of what you like. It's a purely subjective question.

I'm currently using an Roland MC-50, but I'm probably going to get a Yamaha RM1x to use as a sequencer instead.
