New Room Treatment?

Take a look at this website. His room treatment discs seem to go against the laws of physics. If it works, it's amazing...but I don't see how it could be true.

The tip-off there is using the word "magic" in the descriptions.

This kind of nonsense is not only common in the world of audiophiles, it's depressingly typical.

Just place one to three disc on top of your preamp, CD transport, DA converter, turntable etc, and listen for the wonderful change in your Hi fi system

I went looking for some prices but couldn't find any.

I followed the trail to a couple of dealers; no price on the "magic discs", but their preamps run around $7k, if that tells you anything (like maybe a good definition for "audiophile" being someone with more dollars than sense)
