I've only heard a few tunes so far, and I like what I hear as far as what the Stones are musically up to on this one, but I think the production and mastering blow. Sure, they're technically good, and I'm sure it cost a lot of money...blah blah blah. Fuckin, everything major these days sounds exactly that crunched and I'm completely over it. If you took Mick's vocals out, it would be very hard to guess who it was. Seems to me that band's aren't really allowed to have any sort of discernable "sound" at all.
God bless the Stones however for at least trying to do what makes them best again.....Sounding like the Faces.
