Ever hear of the little problem plaguing most Tritons/Trinity's? Korg in their infinite wisdom decided all back panel jacks would only be held in place by the solder contacts making the connections to the synths motherboard. The result has been that alot of these board's rear connectors are failing do to the tugging of the cords attached to those connectors.
That sounds more toy-like to me than anything from Roland. My XP30 was built rock solid and part of the case is still made out of metal. The same cannot be said about boards I have owned over the years.
