hey guys
this fake band i created and am trying to hype the shit out of (just me as musicians) wrote another new demo the other night. i'm trying to prove how easy it is to write "scene" music and gain popularity with hype alone.

I'm never sure how to react to these posts.

I authentically like the music you're doing here. You're better at it than, say, Attack Attack or The Devil Wears Prada.

But there's so much condescension! If you said something like, "I'm trying to see how much popularity I can get from online hype alone," I'd be much more willing to get behind the project.

As to whether or not the music is easy to write, well some people find songwriting easier than others. Maybe you just have an affinity to this genre?

The vocals sound stupid but the music is pretty tight, drums especially sound on point. As a song though it is very weak. The arrangement leaves so much boring, empty space. I take it you're not a fan of the genre so I'm not sure why or what you're really trying to prove, your mission statement makes you sound like an idiot.
