So in the last few weeks I've received some advice about moving my recording space out of my tiny closet into a slightly larger closet, opening it up, and upgrading from a Shure SM58 to an EV RE20 for voiceover work.

Here are the fruits of my labor. I don't have my old Shure SM58 intro unedited unfortunately, so I only have a comparison between that edited vs my current set up unedited.

Thoughts? Comments? Concerns? Anything I should fix or be aware of? Things you hear in my audio that I should work on? I'm working with a limited space inside a tiny apartment, so trying to do the best I can with what I have. The last thing I'm waiting on is some Isole soundproofing sheets to go over my single pane windows.

I feel like the boom is a little bouncier than I would like, I feel like it wobbles a bit; I'm not sure how good the shockmount is? Can you hear any of the wobble in the clip? I'm wondering if I should switch it to a wall mount because I know the issues is that my legs hit the desk a bit (large lady, tiny desk a closet not much I can do about that part other than move the mic off the desk if its an issue).

Thank you everyone who has helped, I really appreciate your input :)

Not much difference, really. What I do hear is a fair amount of sibilance.

I thought there was quite a bit of difference. B has more bass and a bit of boom in the lowest register, A is more mid focused.
