new 'puter

I have a bunch of software from about 2 years ago that I'm going to load onto a brand new Gateway 300X which is running windows XP. Will this work? Stuff like Wavelab, t-racks 24, acid 3.0, B4 (B3 simulater), Native Instruments Kontakt. My old computer was too slow. And now I'm wondering if this older software will work on a newer operating system? I'm new to 'puter recording. Have been using the Roland 1880 as main recorder.

You should be fine. You may need to download the most recent drivers for XP from their websites.
