Ok...ok..i am going to need a lot of help here! i have been writing music for a long time but now i am sick of just writing and doing nothing with it. i have tried using fruity loops on my current computer but i have had a lot of problems due to computer being too old. Anyways...i am getting a new computer and i just want to make sure i know what i am doing. i have Cool edit pro and fruity loops...i have a soundcard but i can't figure out how to get my keyboard to play...i have an older keyboard---Yamaha--- but it has Midi connections. So here are my questions. 1. How do i get a song or beat i made on Fruity Loops copied on to my Cool edit.. 2. How do i get my keyboard to play on fruity loops. Excuse my ignorance on these subjects people, i am just not picking it up on my own so this process has become a lot more dificult than anticipated. Thanks for any help.

A fresh start with a new computer and a new software package is the perscription from this ol' mix doctor.

You've already got the new computer on the way, so here's the software I use and recommend:

You can download a free demo version which is fully functional for two weeks, and if you like it as much as I do it's only $80 to buy your own.

As far as your existing beats and tunes, you've probably got them in your head better than in FL or CoolEdit, so don't be afraid to start fresh.

You might find some free VST plugins here if you look carefully...
