Hi,
I've just bought a tascam DR-05 portable recorder for getting down rough ideas on. I'm very pleased with the recording quality on it with the built-in mic. I was wondering if it would be good enough for mixing down to? I currently mix to a Sony RCD W100. Is it possible that the Tascam would give me better results? Does anyone work this way with a portable recorder?
