new mix and music

Was hoping you guys could judge a mix and give me any tips. I wrote and recorded all the music in my bedroom (drums are electric kit direct midi, sampled over with SD 2.0, and guitars are podfarm+recabinet3)

This genre is sort of a tester, to see if I am feeling the style, so any comments on the music itself would help, as well as the mix. thanks!

Sorry but it sounds like a mess, theres no cohesion between any of the instruments. The mix covers the full spectrum, but theres tons of clutter and masking, sounds like you can get a decent recording but its all over the place.

exactly the brutal honesty i was looking for thank you. I guess I need to EQ and let frequencies breathe.

I think a lot of the problem is that the drums are too loud. Sounds to me like you were influenced greatly by Meshuggah and if that's the sound you are going for then the drums need to be lighter and more clicky.
