I got some new mics, and tested them pretty quickly. The playing sucks, but the sound isn't half bad.
 
The playing is fine :cool: Sound quality is good. I assume these are out of the box with no reverb and no eq, correct? :confused: Sounds a lil dead right now, will improve with getting familiar and adding some tricks.

Yep...I set them on the desktop, and played. This is 2 mics, with no processing. Both just sitting dead center. Had to try them out.. :D

I want to try some stuff, like what Tim has done, but haven't yet.
 
Sounds like it picked up the guitar pretty well. Is this the MSH-1M?

What kind of guitar are you playing? Sounds like you got a little buzzing going on ;)

Captured the guitars nicely. They'll need some sweetener - verb or a third rmic for the room but you've scored nicely.

You said your playing sucks,but I think a major part can be your guitar (seems with an "ultra high action") .As result, notes aren´t very clear.

Yeah, those are the mics. Just got em. Ran them through my DMP3, into a Delta 44.

The guitar is my wifes Simon And Patrick. I am assuming the buzzing is my style....very sloppy, and I was hitting it pretty hard.

Ciro, I think the unclear notes are the result of me not fretting properly....but I'm not sure about the action. I haven't done anything to it since I bought it for her, and that was over a year ago..... :o

Thanks guys. I need to mess around with mic placement, but these things do sound pretty good.
