GODAMNIT MATT!!!!

youre such a dick!
you put these kick ass clips up here, and as soon as im really getting into it

ITS OVER!

Little more 2k and 8k on the toms would be nice for more stick sound.
Sounded good though.
Id like to hear the rest of it. :D

:D, I guess I'm a better "diddywriter" than a "songwriter". Almost everything I record are short songs trying something new, whether it be new drum mic positions or drum tunings.

I'd use similar tom EQ techniques if I was actually able to mic toms, heh. My set up is really quite limited, actually, so I can only mic my set with four mics. I would kill a man to mic a full kit, but I don't have the cash (currently unemployed). I'm trying to make the best of what I have. :D

Thanks for listening, Finster.

What'dja use for an amp? It sounded a little bit not-through-a-cabinet.

I'm using my old Line 6 "Spider 212" 100 watt amp, miced really close to the cone. It sounds unauthentic to me, and I don't like it much either. I'm really interested in something like a 5150, but as I said, I don't have the cash.

Thanks for listening.

nice...I too would have liked to hear more. You're getting a nice sound through the gear as you've described it. The playing sounds tight too.

Didn't mean to be a negativo, and it does sound good, cool riff, but it did sound a smidgen un-authentic. I'm a guitar player myself so I'm anal about that kind of thing, which is the only reason I commented. But that being said, it was a rad riff.

My thoughts too.

I always joke with a friend of mine about my amp. I've heard of other Line 6 amps being capable of downloading new tones off of the internet. Makes sense the Line 6 guitar tone is so "digital" sounding.

That sounds sweet...

What program do you use to mix and such?
