New metal - what do you think?

As with most of the stuff I post here this is geared for Spike TV and TNT. I've licensed tunes to both before and they are looking for more extreme sports type music.

They don't want guitar solos.

Thats pretty cool. I could see hearing that in the background of some car-racing game on PS2 or something like that. Very good. :)

Just kidding ESP.......I love the guitars. Cool riff and arrangement. I'd love to hear this with vocals. I find the drums lacking a bit of aggressiveness at the beginning. Maybe it's the too-closed hi-hat (in my opinion)...But they rock once the tune gets going. Good stuff, man. Post more!!!
 
guitars sound great, drums sound good too, i think maybe the hats are little too loud though. but the drums in general sound pretty HUGE and i love it. the rhythm guitars sound huge also. :cool:

but hey you trickeded me, i thought this was gonna be Nu-Metal!! :mad:

Hey thanks brother. Do you sing? I'm working with a crooner sort of guy right now. I need someone with some gritty rock vocals for my other projects.

Nice and appropriate too. Hi testosterone level, chicks would hate this. :D Its constant energy. Reminds me of my friend Mark Wood's stuff, he does a lot of TV sports stuff. Nice and pro sounding and very tight. :cool:
