The intro sounded like the song was gonna be huge. The bass comes and goes a bit, but believe me, I am still struggling with my recorded bass tone as well. Then when the heavy guitars kick in, the mix kinda falls apart. I think that you have a good rock voice. The intro was great as it built up to a huge imagination of what was to come, then I was smacked in th back of the neck when it finally came. It seemed to pick up on an off beat. A tempo change issue maybe. But then there was so much goin on with not enough separation. If you could make the rest of the song have the feel that intro has, you will have a great one. I love that clean guitar sound. How did you get that tone? I've always had problems with clean tones.
The song is nice, though the mix is a bit weird. The drums sound too reverby, like they're from the later Led Zeppelin records. You know that distant thumping sound? I don't think that kind of sound fit a metal track like this, but all in all, a good groove you've got there. The singing reminded me of Rob Halford, so that can't be a bad thing. The "no-one to blame except yourself" got a little repetitive there, but that's just me. The guitar tone is good, except I can hear it distort when palm muting after around 3:20. I had that problem previously. I usually lowered the frequencies around 100hz and 200hz. That seemed to work for me.

the intro like others said is good. sounds like the song will really be good, but then...
the vocals are far too...reverby and flangy for my tastes.
the intro had a very tool/alice in chains vibe to it. build on the intro more and i think you've got a good song there.

Good tune.... The other comments summed up most of my thoughts, but I do enjoy the metal! Somewhere around 3:00 something bad happens......like the lead comes in with the scream and it clips or something......like digital guitar processor type clip.......This singer is really good....there's something not good happening with the end guitar rhythms.....and a few times during......guitar clipping was hurting my speakers and I had to keep it a bit lower than normal..
