Hello everybody,
I've been hanging out here just checking things out, thought I'd go ahead & post a song. I've been recording about 4 months, so I'm very new at all this. Any tips/suggestions/comments are welcome. Thanks in advance!

OK listening now, First impression is that the parts are all really well played. The vocals are out front really well, that sounds good. The drummer sounds like he's very good, just seems to me the cymbals sound thin and a little tinny. Maybe GregL or some other good drummer could chime in on that. The doubled vocals starting around 1:43 are a little pitchy and fighting with each other creating a little mud. But overall, I'd say this is fabulous if you're really just beginning. Really good. Nice job.

Thanks for the reply, I know the vocals are "pitchy", I really can't sing. As far as the cymbals go, do you know how to make them sound better? Thanks for the compliments, I've been recording since Dec. 9. Thanks again.

Good "anthem" type song. Kind of a 70's or 80's vibe at times... The vocals are a little pitchy in spots but it's not bad and gives a realistic/live flavour to the delivery. Are these live drums or midi/samples ? My midi cymbals aren't the best sounding - little too "the same" all the time... I think for four months you are miles ahead of where I was at that time. Looking forward to hearing more.....

Thanks man,
I appreciate the compliments, & I agree with you 100% about my vocals. I try to sing, but I've only been doing that 4 months also.

You asked about the drums, they are Acoustica Beatcraft drums. Don't know if you've heard of them, but a friend recommended them, & personally I like them a lot. Plus I checked out some other drum software, & for $40, they are hard to beat (pun intended) I'll post the link for you:

Again, thanks for the compliments, & any tips/advise are welcome.
