New member - mixer purchace advice

I have been a working musician for 16 years now , but am pretty new to home recording. I got a "hand me down" pro tools 001 rack from a buddy and installed it in my trust G4 powermac. All i have for a mixer is a 6 channel powered head. I found a Fostex 820 20 channel mixer I can score cheap ( about 150 bucks). Anyone have any experience with these? Thanks in advance,

Hi,

It could be that the reason nobody has replied is that nobody on this forum has ever used a Fostex 820.

I did a google on it and what I read was that it is average, I will stand corrected if somebody knows better.

Try posting this in the Fostex section.
