Im an ex-spurt
OK...I admit it. I've got G.A.S.
The drums I've got now (given to me) are a cheap 5 piece set of Sunlite (generic, I think) with Aquariun heads, genera dry on one of my snares, 1 decent cymbal, cheap ride, crash and HH's.
The drums don't sound bad but I've never had my own set to compare to. So I was checking out a set of Mapex...http://drums-percussion.musiciansfr...Fusionese-Drum-Set-with-Free-8-Tom?sku=490304
and add cymbals as I can.
Or get the cymbals now and my own set later.
Any one tried Mapex stuff?
(If anyone wants to hear the drums I've got now, they're on my myspace site.

Thoughts from the drum guru's?
What would YOU do?
The dude's not in a hurry for his drums back, btw.
