I picked up one those little badboys myself.
I have a lot fun with it, especially running it through my tape echos.
Can't wait to pair it up with a Monotribe!
I'm actually in the process of making my own analog synth now.
The shell is from an old Traynor mixer, and it will have real analog tape echo effects built into it, from an old Sony reel to reel I had laying around.:D

Im not sure if this will be a hit or a miss..I just watched the namme demo of it and I love the idea of the built in drum machine but the sounds are stock and cant be altered..bit of a miss there..

I have the montron but havent touched it in ages, i have a feeling this would maybe happen with a mono tribe, without midi and the ability to control it with a real keyboard its going to be limited..i also think its going to retail for around $250-$300..I bought a new micro x for that and its an excellent synth..so not sure about this :(

I've only used my Monotron on one song so far, and that was to do an analogue filter sweep (the DCF in the synthesizer used for the actual sound had too much stepping).

However, I keep it next to one of my computers, and when I'm bored I will tend to pick it up and mess around with it for a few minutes.

What I will say is that for what I needed in the song it did the job perfectly.

And for those who are curious, it was the intro to this song:
[13 minutes!]

Actually, when I get home, I could probably do a comparison between the Waldorf Pulse version of the intro and the Monotron version.
