HI guys, I am an old musician but new to recording. This is the rig I am thinking about...feed back please and tell me what else I need.
I know I will need chords and such but I need to know abour equipment.
I am looking at a;
Portastudio 424mklll
two, mxl v63m comdenser studio mics
and either the TDK Dual Well audio CD recorder
or using a UA-1A USB Audio Interface so I can conect to my PC.

what software do I need for my PC?
Do I need pre-amps?

any and all help would be great

you will need a source of phantom power for the condensor mic that the 424 (probly)wont provide. you can get a unit that the mic plugs into and than you go out of the unit and into the 424 but im not sure of cost or brand.
