I must say this is quite the bbs :)
i was hoping i could get some feedback on some tunes i just recorded. havent't settled on a final mix and could use some new ears.

I listened to both tracks, and to me they are totally different styles. I think that's cool.

"Belonging"- I like this tune a lot for what it is: simple acoutic and vocal folk. Does make me wonder what it would sound like with more of a full band arrangement. Good song just like it is though, which is great when a tune can be broken down like this and still come across very well. Maybe the acoustic could use more presence to bring it closer sounding to the listener since it's the only instrument, but that might just be the MP3 format taking it's toll.

"A letter to Maria..."- The mix doesn't sound bad on this one either. I know you mention the bullhorn effect on the vocal, but I'd still like to hear it more outfront. At least where I could understand the words better. I like the rythmic beat on this one.

Good job on both tunes overall, keep em coming.

and i agree with the vocal level critique. i think i'd been listening to it for too long on one set of speakers, and therefor it's not translating well.
