Just signed up here. Kind of a differnent need. I'm building a video studio and need information on soundproof Studio Doors. Anyone have any recomendations or manufacturers?

Take a look around the studio building section. Loads of great info there.

Also, might be worth describing the room. I don't know much about it, but i know a soundproof door is no use if the walls/windows/floors are letting plenty of sound through.

steenamaroo is right.. im pretty sure a regular solid door does better soundproofing than your standard sheetrock wall... so if its a normal room... the door is probably the best part of your wall when it coems to sound proofing already :P
 
Transparent aluminum or a sound proof force field works best for me!! :D

You just have to make sure that the door seals well or it's close to having a window open.
