New Hardcore Style Song

Like the guitars but they are a little bit thin but thats more of a personal preference. The drums sound extremely fake the bass drum isn't really there and the toms kind of jump out at you in a bad way. i would play with the velocity a bit especially with the snare drum. Alot of fills going on in there that distract from the cool guitar riffage. I think the guitars would sound even more bad ass if you panned them a little more creatively. With this style song the first thing that comes to mind is in flames and what I love about them is that there drums are wide and spacious. I dig the song though. The bass guitar and kick drum are fighting each other a bit.

Personally I would maybe EQ the guitar a bit better they are feeling really sharp. Were you using an amp sim on your DAW or is this recorded from an amp? Sometimes guitar rig etc give off a really sharp tone. You should research EQ shaping and sweeping techniques which will help alot! Apart from that the song sounds pretty good :) I agree with guitarded2 with the velocity on the drums...maybe possibly add in some reverb or delay to give the drums some more space.

Thanks for the input, I was using amp sims, with 2 guitar tracks panned all the way left and right

Pretty cool tune man! I like your guitar parts.
That kick definitely needs to come out and play some more. It can only be heard at 1:14 and the same part later on when everything but the guitars and it stop for a second.
The guits are pretty dang fuzzy IMO too. If you still have the sims running on the track, you could flip through a few more setting and see if you can tame that down, or if you still have the original DI signal.. Might require some different EQ after that.
A bit more bass might be nice too.

Ok cool, thanks guys. If I do another metal track, I'll tame down the fuzz, and track 4 guitars instead of just 2. Thanks again, I appreciate it!
