New Hard Drive ...??

Just puyt in my second hard drive that I will be useing for audio files....

is there anything important I should be doing as its all vey new to me...

I have formatted the drive and i think its working....i had do disk or anythign with the drive

i assume that's all you need to do. when i threw my new hard drive in all i had to do was format it so windows could read it. hasn't failed me yet
