New Folk Artist

generally, I like it. I only listened to the first one and bits of the second... because they sound like demos - it feels like the rest of the band is always just about to appear but never does.
Get some drums on there!
 
Well the girl that recorded them wanted them for demos. and nothing else other that her and her guitar. so i mean what can you do lol.
 
Yeah, a bit of funk bass, a two handed tapping guitar solo and some thrash screaming backing vocals are what's lacking here ;)

No this is great. A really fine singer, nice songs. Loved the stripped back approach. You did introduce her as a new folk artist after all, not that folk can't have drums, but I think these songs stand as they are. I don't think they neccesarily sound like demos at all. Maybe I would have liked a fuller sounding acoustic guitar, but that's just being picky.

sorta there is a track that i recorded direct but turned it down. then eq'ed a bit
