New Delta Win2k Drivers

That would be great news for me if i had Windoze 2000....(hangs head in shame from running Windows 98).....

Well that may be good. I've done a lot of recording on W2K with the driver release previous to this. I don't think the problems I'm having are with the Delta drivers.... so it's back to 98 lite for me.

BTW what version of W2K are you using Slackmaster2K?

I'm using the original boxed version with no service packs.

The drivers work using ASIO mode with n-Track...well I think. I'm not sure how it's supposed to run but it seems to do well. After updating the drivers just a few moments ago, I think I'm noticing some improvement in response time without crackling. (on a heavy load, it would crackle as I adjusted volumes, for instance...not a big problem though...it wouldn't crackle during regular playback and there were never any pops in my recorded waves)

I'll have to play with this update more. As of now, it seems minor. The Delta card really needs to be matched with an updated software package that supports ASIO or things won't work to well in Windows 2000.

I tried the ASIO drivers on NTrack 2.2, and it was a no go...just locked up when i hit record...other drivers work fine though....version 2.2.1 is supposed to have fixed that problem, but i havent downloaded it yet...curious to see if it cures that little stuttering effect for me on realtime fader and eq moves......

2.2.1 supposedly fixed some problems with Delta cards specifically. And the latest build has even more fixes since I found a couple bugs myself. Fabio RULES.
